Federation Management Tool

The Federation Management Tool (FMT) is designed to help you manage a federation execution and participating federates. Managing a federation execution is a complex task. There can be many thousands of federates participating and you must be able to understand where each one is in time, maintain the necessary degree of synchronization, save federation status so that a simulation can be resumed at a given point, and many other tasks. The FMT is the tool you need to stay on top of your simulation.

FMT 2.1 was released in September, 2000. Another minor release in early March 2001 contained an enhanced publish/subscribe interface. A major release in July 2003 features a plug-in interface for displaying FOM-specific data, as well as support for the RTI 1516 standard.
